No prior experience is necessary. However, it is important to know how to swim and have a strong desire to try something new. Every beginner is welcome to this new challenge. In fact, 70%-80% of our clients who come to the school start from scratch. The remaining percentage are those who learned last year and have joined the club.
No. As mentioned earlier, knowing how to swim is essential to embark on this adventure. At our school, we’ve had participants as young as 8 years old to adults, and everyone has fully enjoyed the sport. Of course, we adapt our teaching methods and exercises to suit each student. This discipline involves aerobic exercises that help tone your limbs and torso, as well as improve your coordination and balance.
Yes, an introductory course is important. While there is a theoretical part you can learn at home—reading articles or watching videos, for example—the practical part must undoubtedly be initiated and guided by an instructor and a professional center. An instructor will teach you essential techniques like how to handle the board and help you feel confident in controlling the sport.
